Winton Bochanowicz

Born and raised in Albury, Winton Bochanowicz started his art when he was very young and had a passion for it. He found out his flare when he was at both Primary and Secondary School. When he reached year nine, at Stotts College Melbourne, one of his subjects was Contemporary Art which involved learning art techniques and history of art. When finished schooling, he studied Interactive Multimedia at the Riverina Institute of TAFE for over two years. Creating design and artwork in the IT world. Including 2D and 3D design, film making and web design. He continued studying IT in Networking and Engineering and finished his degree at Charles Sturt University.

Still wanting to learn more in the area of art, Winton learnt the concept of ‘Trompe l’oeil’ art (the art of illusion) in Melbourne by well known artist Peta Wilson. He kept working on his artwork and self taught through the years.

He created animations/Cartoons displayed at the Border and Regional Film Festival in 2005 Rupert and Twinkles Invited Guest , in 2006 (Rupert and Twinkles Cookie Time) and 2010 (The Mystery of Tye and BowTye). And has created his first indie short film ‘Law and Justice LA : Where’s Wally?’ in 2014.

He now continues to work with his passion and is working as a local commercial artist.
